Joel D. Clark affectionally nicknamed “Joey” was born March 4, 1967, to parents Thomas David Clark Sr. and Margaret Harmon Clark.
To know Joey was to love him. When he entered the room, he radiated a positive energy through his sense of humor and laid-back personality. He was the “Life of the Party” and never met a stranger.
He completed his education at Leroy High School Class of 1985. He was a member of Good Stone A.M.E. Zion church and recently re-dedicated himself to the church in 2025.
Joey was employed by several places of work. A couple were: Steel Plant and Spill Tech.
He was an avid Alabama, “Roll Tide” and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Joey loved his daughters and his family. One thing for sure, everyone knew when Joey entered the room. You would hear him before you saw him! You definitely could not out talk him.
In addition to his parents, Joey is preceded in death by the following family members:
Webster Harmon Sr., Carrie Harmon, Dessie Lee Tarleton, Joseph James Harmon, Isaiah Harmon, Webster Harmon Jr., and Geraldine Harmon.
Joey leaves to cherish his legacy and precious memories, his two daughters Kelsey Clark and Zeniyah Rothschild. Siblings: Linda (Joseph) Clark Smith, Sharon Clark, Vickie Clark, Barbara (Steven) Foster, and Thomas David Clark Jr. Nieces: Veronica Clark and Jaleesa Marie Clark as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
