Glover Cleveland "Shag" Jackson, a native of Jackson, was born February 6, 1972 to Louise Jackson and the late Champion Jackson, Jr. He exchanged time on February 13, 2024.
He was preceded in death by father, Champion Jackson, Jr.; grandfather, Champion Jackson, Sr.; two grandmothers, Anna Mae Jackson and Everyone Sims; and brother, Jared Jackson.
Glover leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Miranda Jackson; mother, Louise Jackson; four daughters, Desiree (Tyrus) Horn, Amanda Daffin, Caneisha Jackson and Amiah Jackson; four sons, Jason Jackson, Jaqualyn Jackson, Jason Jackson and Glover Jackson, Jr.; two sisters, Monica (Kelvin) Jackson and Kathy (Chris) Mason; six brothers, Tommie Lee Williams, Jimmy (Linda) Jackson, Charlie (Deandre) Jackson, Elbert (Christian) Sims, David Lee (Pamela) Sims and Frank (Kimberley) Jackson; 15 grandchildren; with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; including devoted friends, Terry Chapman, Jamie Jackson, Joe McReynolds, Willie West and Antonio Crayton.
Public viewing will be from 1 until 4 p.m., at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home. Service will be Saturday, February 24, 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Olive No. 1 Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Cobb Hill Cemetery
